I haven't played Life is Strange 2 yet, but: Life is Strange > True Colors > Before the Storm Life is Strange has the best plot and game mechanics; True Colors has the best characters and setting. Before the Storm fleshes out some of the Life is Strange backstory, but overall just feels unnecessary.
I will always save chloe, I’ve only seen the sacrifice chloe ending like 2-3 times, and I’ve just sobbed too much. It’s just the thought of chloe dying angry, alone, thinking she was unloved. It’s how chloe says everyone is worth more than her. And max has gone through so much fucking shit just to save the girl she loves.
After all the awful things Life is Strange 2 has shown me, I still don’t feel like Sean or Daniel even grew very much in all of this. It wasn’t worth it. It wasn’t worth it. None of it was.
Life Is Strange still has its dull moments, earnings its criticism of being a “walking simulator.” Just as with Episode 2, this episode has you doing some really boring things. Like exploring

Conclusion . If you were already a fan of Life is Strange, then Haven Springs is absolutely worth a visit. True Colors doesn’t introduce much new, but it continues the series' strongest points

I found most people liked the last episode even if they didn't like the game as a whole. i personally loved the game tho. Also if I want to be pedantic I can say that if it's truly the best ending then that should mean it's not the worst game (as there are other games out there that don't even have a good ending going for them), but I recognize hyperbole, so I shouldn't be so pedantic.
I love Life is Strange and Before the Storm. So much that I have Zoe’s butterfly 🦋 tattooed on my arm. It’s one of my favourite games of all time. I didn’t really enjoy LiS 2. For a cheap buck On a sale I do think it’s worth picking up, but it’s nowhere near the first game.
I suppose that if it were called Life is Strange: The Story of the Wolf Brothers, there might not have been as much disappointment at the fact it’s not a Max & Chloe story as there was with the Life is Strange 2 moniker. Life Is Strange - 79.2/100. 2015's Life is Strange is the first in the franchise from developer Dontnod Entertainment. It introduces the series' trademark consequence system, supernatural elements, and character-driven stories. The game follows photography student Max Caulfield and her one-time friend Chloe Price.

The ending is WILD. I cannot even put into words what happens. You have to play it and when you do, absorb everything you can. This is an immersive game that requires your 100% focus. It’s completely worth it. Trust me. 2.) Life Is Strange: Before The Storm As you can tell by the title, Before The Storm is a prequel to Life Is Strange.
