I use the fullscreen=false launch parameter alongside a few others. everything works fine, until I load a game, which makes the game freeze. I tried running the video config, I edited the inis in the savegame location, I tried compatibility mode. fullscreen works, windowed doesnt. is there any way to fix this?

Hello, I had the same problem twice, but I've got it fixed. The only thing you have to do is open DSVideoConfig.exe and select your graphic card without the option TnL. Next change the DungeonSiege.exe options to compatibility mode Windows XP SP2 (I have it also running as admin and without active designs). If you are looking for similar games to Torchlight. Dungeon I has the first part of a story, as one other person here mentioned. Dungeon I has specific monsters and is shorter than the II version. There is no "best" pet. The best pet is absolutely dependent on situation - an ice elemental is not very good for a party of fighters, nor is a light naiad good for a party of nature mages. No one can argue for what the best pet is because it is 100% dependent on your party and what you need the role filled with.

Legends of Aranna was just like the original Dungeon Siege published by Microsoft Game Studios. So in case of LoA there was no different publisher. Only difference is that LoA was made together with Mad Doc Software. Broken World got indeed an other publisher and that's Take Two Interactive.

I cannot get this working yet. I followed these steps chronologically (on Windows 10): -> Bought the Dungeon Siege collection at GOG (don't think it matters with the Steam version since I launch the game from within the folder itself) -> Started the game without installing 'Killah Broken World fix' yet and the game worked. -> Followed Killah's / others instructions and copied over the files.
